ACT Preparation:
Ace the ACT! is a one-day course designed to teach students key strategies in taking the American College Test (ACT). The class includes helpful hints in how to take the test (and most standardized tests) by reviewing all sections tested and key math formulas used most often on the ACT. Participants should bring a pencil and a desire to improve their scores. It is highly recommended that participants register early as this course fills quickly! Limited enrollment! Lunch will be provided.

Interest Inventory
Because many students explore career options as they plan for college,
ACT has included a systematic assessment of career interests in the ACT
Assessment for more than 15 years. Items in the current edition of the ACT
Interest Inventory are being updated through a series of field studies involving
12,000 ninth graders, college-bound students, and adults. The new edition , to
be introduced with the Enhanced ACT Assessment will continue to use ACT's
World-of-Work Map and Career Family List to link students' interest scores to
educational and career options.
