FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA

HISTORY: 

In 1917, the Smith-Hughes National Vocational Act established vocational agriculture courses.  Smith and Hughes were Georgia Congressmen.

In 1973, official FFA dress standards were created.

Each Fall, the Mantachie FFA conducts their annual sorghum production and sale.

Each spring, the Mantachie FFA conducts their annual Greenhouse Plant  Sale.  They offer a variety of annual flowers and garden plants.
