Mantachie School and Region III Mental Health Center offer a Support Therapy Program at our school. This program provides assistance for your child in many areas.
The Support Therapist will work with students individually and in small groups to assist them therapeutically in developing positive attitudes and behaviors. Family therapy will also be a main focus in therapeutic services. It is important that the therapist and family work together in an effort to increase positive behaviors and improve family/school interactions with the student. With your permission, the therapist will work with your child's teacher in any way the teacher feels necessary to insure your child receives the best education possible.
