Senior ads for the yearbook: $65 for 1/4 page, $95 for 1/2 page and $150 for a full page. See Will Knight, Tyler Camp, Anna-Clark Hall, or Ms. Nikki Buse for more information. The deadline is 11/20/09.
School picture make-up day is October 12.
Junior Civitan Club Dues need to be paid by October 9. The fee is $15.
The yearbook staff will be selling 2009-2010 Yearbooks October 5-9. They will come to homerooms to collect money and orders during that week. Yearbooks are $35.
There will be a Junior FFA Meeting for 7th and 8th grade Thursday, October 1, 3:15 in the Ag Shop.
SADD Club Dues need to be paid by October 1. The fee is $10.
Science Club will meet Wednesday, September 30, at break in the Science Lab.
Click 4-H Day @ MSU Football to find out more information about this event. It will be October 3 when MSU plays Georgia Tech. $15 includes 1 ticket to game, 1 ticket to 4-H tailgate area, 1 t-shirt. Contact MSU-Itawamba extension office no later than September 23 for more information.

Mantachie Fest is September 19-20 at the Mantachie Park. Come out and support our town. The Junior Class is sponsoring a dunking booth. Join the fun! Also, congratulations to Ashley Johnson for representing MHS as this year's Miss Fest.
College Day for Juniors and Seniors will be September 24.
Tux and Drape photos for seniors will be made September 22. A $10 deposit must be paid.

Homecoming Week (Sept. 14-18): Monday--Twin Day Tuesday--Tacky Day Wednesday--Camouflage Day Thursday--Pro/College Day Friday--Blue & Gold Day Homecoming T-Shirts are for sale for $12. Money must be turned in by Monday, September 14 to the Office, Mrs. Franks, or Mrs. Dickinson. Homecoming Corsages are for sale for $8 (choice of shoulder or wrist, choice of Blue Emblem--Number, "M", or Horseshoes). Money and orders must be turned in by Tuesday, September 15, to the Junior Sponsors: Mrs. Cooper, Mrs. McDuffa, Mrs. Dunaway, or Mrs. Plunk. The Homecoming Parade will be Friday afternoon, September 18, at 1:45. There will be a Homecoming Dance after the game on the 18th from 10:00-Midnight in the Corral. $3 admission or $5 per couple. Homecoming Souvenir pictures will be made for $5 each. Drinks and Desserts will be sold.

There will be a GADD meeting September 15 at 6:30 at Mantachie Park Pavilion. Seniors, please tell your parents. The last day to turn in Anchor Club forms and money is Friday, September 11. Please give to Michelle Clouse. The Bloodmobile will be at MHS Thursday, Sept. 10. See Tyler Camp to sign up by Wednesday, Sept. 9. There will be a student council meeting at HS break Wed., Sept. 9, in Dr. Jackson's room. The Homecoming court will need to meet with Dr. Jackson at lunch. There will be no school Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. There will be a Prom Meeting for Juniors and Parents before the football game Friday, Sept. 4, at 6:00 p.m., in Mrs. Plunk's room. Student football tickets will be on sale Friday, September 4, at 1:00 for $4.00. 7th- and 8th-Grade Junior FFA Officer Applications must be turned in to the Ag Shop Thursday, September 3. If you ordered or would like to purchase a 2008-09 yearbook, come to the Career Center during your lunch. Football Boosters are selling t-shirts in the office. Adult sizes are $15 or two for $25. Youth sizes are $12 or two for $20. Adult and Youth together are $22. Football Boosters are preparing a cookbook to sell. Please submit recipes with names to Coach Aldridge or Amanda Dickinson. The recipes will be in the book with names printed underneath. |
